2009 Historical Preservation Award
Winners
- Business Historical Preservation Award - Saltbox Lighting for their
renovation of the building at 126 S Broadway in De Pere,

Nan Workman Award - Bob Phillips received the Nan Workman
Award in appreciation for his years of volunteerism during Santa's House.

2008 Historical Preservation Award Winners
- Residential Historic Preservation Award - Richard and Mary Annen's
house at 515 N. Broadway received the Max Franc Historic Preservation
Residential Award.
- Business Historical Preservation Award - Wildroot Salon, 114 N.
Michigan St., owned by Sue Fritsch, and De Pere Auto Center, 705 George St.,
buildings owned by Lawrence Fisette.

Nan Workman Award - Ben Steiner and Doug Sommer received the Nan Workman
Award in appreciation for their technical work on the Museum Archive and
Research System.

2008 Garden of Merit
- The De Pere Area of Commerce and the Beautification Committee chose White
Pillars Museum for their 2008 Garden of Merit Award. Volunteer gardeners
Lee Meyer and Mae Kocha were joined by De Pere Historical Society
representatives Fran Dimmer, Laurel Town, and Mary Kay Milquet, in accepting
the award from Mayor Mike Walsh at a ceremony held during the City of De Pere
Common Council Meeting, September 16.

2007 Historical Preservation Award Winners
- Residential Historic Preservation Award - Robert and Beth Moeller
received the Residential Historic Preservation Award for their efforts
remodeling their home at 908 South Seventh Street.
- Business Historical Preservation Award - Steve and Carey Danen
received the Business Historic Preservation Award for their work renovating
the property on the northeast corner of Michigan and George Streets.

Nan Workman Award - Mae Kocha in appreciation for her tireless efforts
assisting Lee Meyer in keeping the landscaping and flowers on the grounds of
White Pillars Museum beautiful.
